I love this product. I've had manual and electric can openers in the past. This opener works like a dream. Leaves no sharp edges and not much mess on the opener itself. You do have to watch for the paper on the cans to not get mixed in w/the contents cause it tends to peel off when it's being opened. 

You can take this unit apart easily and clean it and put it back together. I'm a fanatic about food stuff on the wheel; afraid of bacteria that could build up and pass on to the next can. Can't be to careful these days!

It does take 2 AA batteries. A little draw back but they last longer...
