The cosco alpha omega is a multi purpose device that has been used  for our three children. It is durable and long lasting. We have used it through all stages as our kids grow and it is fairly easy to convert from stage to stage. We feel we have gotten our monies worth. It would be a wise investment if you plan to have kids and it can be used multiple times. The consumer guides are always rating these products very highly and we have not noted any recalls since we purchased it.
