Took a flight from Omaha, Nebraska to Baltimore, Maryland (home at the time):
After a major accident on an interstate prevented me from arriving to the airport on time for my flight, the gate agents refused to put me (and aparently 150 other passengers) on a later flight without first charging a "mandatory" $100 change fee. I ended up paying the fee, and was put on a flight out the next morning. I wasn't home, so I had to get a hotel in another city ($200/night). The next morning, I boarded my flight, and sat on a non-airconditioned plane on the flight line for 3 hours! ... review »
