The Garmin Nuvi 200 GPS system was given to my wife by me as an anniversary present.  It works very well most of the time, though sometimes it gets wacked out and continuously reconfigures every 30 seconds or so.

It has a huge directory and very accurate directions about ninety five percent of the time.  we love that it can be moved from vehicle to vehicle.  The dashboard beanbag holder is a must, but is unfortunately not included.  It cost almost $40.00 more which was a bit of a rip off. 

The battery doesn't stay charged for a super long time, but it doesn't matter so much as we keep it...
