We bought a stainless steel side by side refrigerator 2 years ago and it stopped running on us.  Repairman said it was the compressor and the part was under warrenty, but we have to pay $440 for labor.  We paid and the compressor was installed a week later when it came in.  Next day it wasn't working again and they came out and unclogged something in the compressor.  Next day stopped working.  They said it was a bad compressor, but they didn't have any more compressors.  We had to fax information and sales receipt to LG customer service and they would get back to us in 48 hours.  They didn't...
