The Dell Latitude D610 laptop has a known defect with the touchpad.  The mouse will "freeze" and you will be unable to use the mouse until the laptop finally "unfreezes".  This makes it incredibly difficult to use the laptop without frustration.  It will also randomly shut itself down.

While I enjoy being able to use my television (the laptop has a TV-out port), I am frustrated that Dell knows that there is a defect with the touchpad, and they will not address/fix the issue.  If you want to use a wired or wireless mouse with this laptop, it may fit your needs, but if you do not, then I would...
