The Toshiba Satellite L305-S5933 is a great laptop which I got for a great price from Newegg.com.  It was only $449.99 with free shipping.  It has Windows Vista Home Premium and I use the Media Center to connect to my HD USB TV turner for a great viewing experience.  I also use it for wireless internet access at my home.  The 3GB of RAM makes it very quick.  The 250GB hard drive gives tons of space for your pictures, music and videos.  The 15.4 inch widescreen is crystal clear and bright.  It has a built in webcam and microphone that I have not really used much other than to see if it worked...
