Ikea - Schaumburg, IL

You get a lot for your money but plan ahead

The Ikea's in the Chicao area are not convienient to reach, especially when you do not own a car. However, I was determined to purchase specific furniture pieces after moving into a downtown condo. I was already familiar with all of the Billy bookcases as I had installed them in my previous home. Knowing it was going to be an ordeal to get to Schaumburg, get everything I needed, arrange for home delivery and then get myself home, I planned ahead and went in with the list of everything I intended to purchase. I still managed to spend 3 hours in the store and over $2k. Others complain about... review »
