for the past few years, i noted the figures the government give for unemployment only reflect those who are currently receiving benefits or signed up.

i would like to know where all the people are counted who are unemployed and no longer eligible to received benefits.  where do the government include those people in the figures which are to represent the nation's unemployment rate?

i feel we are lulled into a false impression of the condition of our working economy by our governments lack  to track those people who are no longer receiving or for one reason or another are ineligible to receive unemployment...
