This unit is fantastic for cooling large open areas. I use it cool my mobile home in San Antonio, Texas and I could not be more pleased. It runs quietly, no rattles or annoying humming sounds. This unit has the fan power to push the air throughout a large area. If you put the unit in a smaller area you might find the rush of air from the fan annoying. I love it and would definetly purchase this product again.
