I wanted my child to learn Mandarin Chinese so she can speak with her relatives. While she was learning from me, I felt she would get more vocabulary from a movie. While Muzzy isn't the most sophisticated movie, it is geared for a younger audience. My daughter is fascinated by the movie and it is difficult to distract her when she is watching. In addition, she likes to talk back to the movie in Chinese and I've noticed an improvement whenever she watches the movie. It is amazing how easy it is for children to pick up another language.
