I recently purchased a Targus TGT-58TR 58" camera/camcorder tripod. I’ve never used a tripod before, but with the greater capabilities of my new digital camera I found I needed one. Prior to purchasing, I did a bit of research, so I knew things to look for in a tripod. My camera weighs 3 pounds and I wanted a tripod that would be sturdy enough for this camera and any additional equipment I may use with it in the future.
