Hi, just wondering how old your children were when you had this dog?? We're thinking of getting a miniature schnazuer/bichon mix puppy and I have two kids: one will be 5 in June and the other 3 in November. We have mild allergies that prevent us from going the "Golden Retriever" route and I grew up with a schnauzer mix and loved it but I do remember it did bite me once.

Anyways, I'm terrified of getting this puppy and then having to give it away for any reason. And some sites say they're good with kids and some say they're not. All sites say the bichon is fine with kids so I'm just wondering.
