We had never owned a big screen tv so this purchase was a first.  I reviewed the Plasma and LCD and found that they all had problems after time.  I decided on a DLP and have never looked back.

The picture is awesome and I would recommend a DLP to everyone.  I wish we had paid a $1,000 more and gotten the next model that takes Blue Ray but, at that point, no one knew it would push HD DVD's out of the picture and that was alot more money.

Other than that, we love the tv and since I'm a sports nut, the ability to watch on a bigger screen and so much clearer is fantastic.
