We've used the McClaren Volo stroller on subways, at airports, at the zoo, in the neighborhood, at Sea World, shopping etc. 

When buying this I wanted i) a canopy ii) big enough to last a few years for a tall toddler and preschooler iii) undercarriage storage iv) lightweight v) easily and compactly collapsed. Although the most expensive umbrella stroller at Target, it is the very best value. 

It is the most practical stroller we have and we are so glad we got it instead of the cheap alternatives that are a fifth of the price. I can collapse it and open it with one hand and one foot then lift...
