I paid dearly for my computer because of its many features: media center, various drives and inputs, DVD/CD writer with lightscribe, not to mention the speed and space.  However, now that it is out of warranty, the writer does not work.  My computer technician told me that this has happened to many people he knows with HP computers.  It has swayed me, and I will be getting Dell next time.
