I bought the Cyberhome DVD player about three years ago and it has outlasted the more expensive DVD players that friends have bought over the years.  It does not have any special features; it is a basic player.  It recently stopped working.  For a $40 DVD player, I think that is pretty good.  It used to cause movies to skip, but only did that toward the end of its life.  All in all, it is a pretty good DVD player for the low price and I would recommend it to someone on a budget who does not need extra features.
