Great Smoky Mountains National Park

It is a beautiful place to vacation

love local culture and products, like random finds, camper, arts lover, a fan of free places, nature lover, budget conscious, prefer National Parks over cities

We go to the Smokey Mountains every year for a big family reunion! We usually rent a large cabin in Pigeon Forge. We go a few days early before the rest of the family arrive at the cabin & camp in The Great Smokey Mountains! We love Smokemont & Elkmont campgrounds! When staying at smokemont we travel on into the Cherokee village to shop while some go biking in the mountains. One of our gang is a big fisherman usually gets a guide to take him on a fishing trip to get pointers on his fly fishing! We love to hike on the trails & especially like to go to Laurel Falls where we almost always see... review »
