I have been currently using mederma to help treat a surgical scar as well as continuing treatment for old acne scars.  The product itself was recommended to me by a doctor, and it has somewhat helped reduce the presence of scarring on my face.  The product states that you are supposed to apply it several times a day to affected areas and rub it in for the product to take effect.  I have found that after rubbing it in, residue and sometimes stickiness persist in my skin.  It does not seem to cause my skin to dry out exessively, which is a plus since my skin is very sensitive.  I would recommend...
