    i DONT KNOW ABOUT THE NEWER PRODUCTS BUT i BOUGHT ONE OF THESE WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT AND IT WAS HORRIBLE.  I HATED IT ALL IT DID WAS PUSH DIRT AROUND AND LEAVE HORRIBLE BLACK LINES ALL OVER MY KITCHEN FLOOR.  I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS FOR ANY ONE!!!!
