I have subscribed to Match.com a couple of different times for a total of about 7 months on and off, with little success. I am a female in her 40's, never married, with a professional/technical job and what I consider to be average looks. I have only exchanged emails with a handful of men during that time, and only dated one person. I found that one of the biggest frustrations with Match.com is that even though there are so many profiles on the site, the vast majority of people are not active members.
