I recently purchased the Acer Aspire laptop looking for something affordable but also of good quality. I was pleasantly surprised by the great quality of the Acer laptop. Tons of storage space and super fast- 2GB Ram with 4GB hard drive which is partitioned. The screen is a nice widescreen, 17 inches,  with amazing picture quality. There is also built in Dolby Digital surrond sound...just like being in a movie theatre! Comes pre-loaded with some great software, but also with some useless software which is easy to remove.
