I was thrilled when I saw the commercials for Bare Escentuals Starter Kit and all the hype around it. I thought it would 'save my skin' and I couldn't wait to try it. We had moved to Oklahoma and my skin had taken a terrible turn from 'great skin' to dry, flakey, red blotchy skin due to hard water and I am sure in part, the age factor (I am not old however I don't have my 20 year old skin anymore).

The commercials and most reviews I read indicated it was basically a problem solver for almost any skin issue. Unfortunately, it was not a problem solver for my skin. It actually seemed to dry it out...
