The Akron Zoo is probably the most young family friendly zoo along the Great Lakes.  Although many other zoos in the area are wonderful, I found this zoo to be the best for families that have preschool and elementary age children due to the size of the zoo and the ability to see the animals well.

When our family visited the zoo, we found it easy to park and get into.  The price was very economical.
