This camera is 7.2 Mega pixel and has a zoom of 15x. there isn't much of a difference between 12x zoom and 15x zoom  .. but you get it.. you take it .. the camera is light and has all latest features, it also has the face recognition software. and recognizes all faces even in a group photo.. the best part about the camera is the manual features.. you can try all the things you want to .. all in all i rate this as a camera worth to buy..
