Myrtle Beach has lots of things to do for families, and single people.  The weather was really hot when we visited in July '09 (of course, it is the beach...) and it rained every day, but just brief thunderstorms.

It was really crowded, but everyone leaves the beach at about 6 pm, so I think this is the best time to go. It's easier to find a nice spot when it is less crowded.

Broadway at the Beach is really neat, lots of fun things to do, fun shopping.  There are also all sorts of restaraunts, from fast-food, to moderately priced chain restaraunts, to local establishments.
