I had Lap. Roux-en-Y surgery in August of 2007.  I have since had a loss of 112 lbs. and I have maintained that loss for over a year.

For someone who has tried every diet known to man and has spent endless amounts of money, bariatric surgery was my last hope.  I had yo-yo dieted my entire life and ruined my metabolism.  My health was not good and I knew I had to go to drastic measures to regain my health.

RNY is not a surgery to be taken lightly.  As with any other surgery, there are risks involved. 

It's also not a miracle cure for obesity.  There is alot of focus on changing eating habits...
