This card accumulates GREAT miles. The annual fee is quite high ($175) but in the long run I find it worth it. In the first year, you can accumulate up to 15,000 elite qualifying miles, and in subsequent years up to 5,000. For purchases at united.com, and grocery, home improvement, gas, and dining, you accumulate 2 points per dollar. All other purchases are 1 point per dollar.
