The TomTom One has helped me get around the city I live in in a huge way.  I am a very "directionaly challanged" person and have big problems getting around.  I used to have a Garmin, but I enjoy this piece of equipment more.  It does take a bit more time to plug in where you are going, and the general search features (if you have a type of destination, but not a specific one in mind) are a little harder to use than the Garmin, but there seem to be a lot more deatures and various things you can do with the TomTom One.  It is much more compact and sleek and a lot easier to get in and out of...
