Since you said that you are an instructor, I have a question I have failed to get answered thus far. I am just starting to look into sergers and have several friends who have them. It seems that with the sergers they own you, after you sew your piece you have to take the thread tail and either tie it off or thread the tail through a needle and pull it through the fabric piece. Is there any serger that you can get that will lock in the stitch (either by reverse stitching or some other technique) so you don't have to fool with all of that at the end of your project? PLEASE HELP! Thanks soooo Much!!

I just purchased the Juno 3434D, if I understand you correctly, I can do all the stitches rolled hem, narrow hem, picot edge, without purchasing any other equipment?????
I just at the "get the tension correct" stage after just opening the box. I don't find the book to be that helpful, I'd like to see more info on various types of fabrlic, and I'd like to know which way to turn the knobs for tighter or looser tension. ie: turn left for tighter tension, I've been sewing for a long time, but every machine is different.
