10 Twists too many

a fan of clever plots, character-lover, into movies that tell a great story, a DVD collector

Everyone has heard of the Black Dahlia and most people are fascinated with the case, myself included. I couldn't wait to see the movie, which makes the film itself all the worse. To begin with there are just way too many turns into subplots and character driven drama that pull you away from the case and leave you too tired to really care when you finally get your answers. The Black Dahlia is 2 hours & 2 mins long(feels like 4 hours) but if you got rid of all the excess clutter and just left the heart of it you could watch it in about an hour.
