Many people don't realize that the disability community--like other minority communities--has been organized and active for 30 years making sure that people with disabilities don't get left behind in the new millenium.  They have gotten several major laws passed, and now children with disabilities can attend school with their non-disabled classmates and there are anti-disctrimination laws in housing, employment, and access.  It's an amazing movement story, and this organization is at its forefront.  Check out the… read full review »
