The Cuisinart coffee bean grinder does a great job grinding coffee; my son, who is very particular about his coffee, grinds beans daily and swears by it.  I have a Cuisinart that I use only for herbs and flax seeds.  I bake my own bread so that I can add special ingredients to boost the healthful qualities of the food we eat.  Flax seed, especially, is an additive that must be ground in order to be of real benefit but it is a very hard seed to crack.  Grinding with a mortar has not been satisfactory and the seeds are so slippery that my food processor doesn't do the job.  The Cuisinart coffee...
