Well, my VP followers, instead of just talking about how much I like the website, I've decided to just ramble instead. So, I've just moved from Albuquerque, NM to Chattanooga, TN to try a new school for a bit and live closer to my family. I've got to say, though, I am missing, missing, missing my New Mexican food. Green chile anyone?? I would kill for a nice big plate full of love from The Range Cafe (my old job full of wonderful friends and some of the tastiest cookin' in ABQ). Boy oh boy. 9/2/08 Currently am suffering from New Mexico withdrawls but have found that the green chile I've managed to track down is alleviated some of the physical symptoms. Am still severely missing the landscape and people, but at least I can delude myself that the food I make is the same. Sigh. Reading Bless Me, Ultima was great, because the book was so wonderful, but it was hard reading about all of those fascinating traditions and locations that I miss so much. Need to start Southern Lit books ASAP. Into the Wild (current read) is leading to excessive restlessness and fear of starving to death in a van in Alaska. Scary thought. 9/3/08 Am now Writer 1. Wow!
