    Great channel selection and excellent picture quality.

    We have had DirecTV for the passed three years.  We have not had problems with reception, except during REALLY bad storms.  The price has not increased significantly like what happened when we had cable.  The upsetting part has been the cost that we will have to incur if we are to upgrade to HD service. This requires a new satellite and reciever.  We have to pay $200 for a HDTV/DVR receiver before the increase in monthly fees.
