I offer these pieces of advice
- turn it on and leave it near your pet (in my case, kittens & cats) so they get used to the sound
- choose a time when your pet is quiet - after a nap worked well
- go slow - only a few passes at a time
- speak soothingly to your pet to let them know that this is a good thing - it can take a little bit of getting used to.
