I purchased the Linksys wrt54gs router years ago and haven't had any serious problems with it since that initial setup. Linksys is a highly reliable brand name and is probably THE leader in the industry. The worst that has happened is my internet provider has the occasional issue that has made me had to reset the router (this has only happened about a total of 4 times since I bought and installed it). The speedbooster technology is an added bonus because it does give an added boost. I have replaced the antennas with the longer version to give me better range (about 400 ft) and still get great reception....
