    I'm only a week in but so far I'm loving the Dell XPS M1330 (especially after suffing an HP laptop nightmare for the last year). The system doesn't come with much junk preinstalled and windows vista works well. No crashes so far.

    Battery life is about 3 hours.

    Critisms:
    The card reader which doesn't take XD cards.
    An additional battery would have been a lot more welcome than the fairly superflous things that came with the laptop:
    - A huge manual in a fake leather folder (unopened).
    - A nice fabric carry case (no point if you have a laptop bag).
    - A pair of earphones to add to my collection...

    hey, read ur comments on the HP Tx1000. I got exactly the same problem with the touchscreen going berserk. Could you teach me how to disable it? I tried going to the control panel but the tablet pc settings there did not provide me the option to turn it off.. Thanks!!
