"The Blue Carpet Treatment" was released in 2006, and was quite a refreshing album release. During a time when Snap Rap was on the rise, Snoop came with a Doggystyle-esque release that was very reminisicent of the ol' S N double O P. This pro was a con as well. While we all love Snoop Dogg's first album, it would be nice if the album's lyrical content had evolved from 1994. Nevertheless, it's still a great album.
