Last school year my grandson went through 3 back packs. These 3 weren't necessarily "cheap", when added together the cost was much more than the 1 L.L.Bean Book Pack! I decided to "bite the bullet" so to speak, purchased the L.L. Bean, even with monograming it was much cheaper than last year's three! You can tell immediately the material is stronger, more durable, it is hand washable, has many pockets for his "stuff!" The straps are better adjusted to his body and have more padding.
