At just under and 1 hour and 30 minutes, I did find The Simpsons a little too long for the content and storyline. That said, it was generally funny, with the usual political quips we've come to expect from Matt Groening. I wouldn't class myself as a fan, but I have found previous episodes of The Simpsons hilarious, and each time I've watched one i've been impressed with the level of humour and the fact that the producers aren't scared to draw humour from delicate subject matter. Overall, an enjoyable movie,but I think it's a safer bet to confine the residents of Springfield to their TV roots.
