The Rival Crock Pot is an excellent slow cooker.  It offers you the chance to make a complete meal in one pot.  You can either cook the meal overnight or during the day while you're busy doing other things!  The Rival has four settings, 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours or 10 hours, as well as a "warm" setting. 

I also like the fact that you can remove the crock pot bowl and use it for storing left overs in the refrigerator.  This way you can cook enough for several meals and use the food for a quick bite at lunch, or save it and add a salad and make a quick dinner.
