Well, it seems that BA's already has quite a reputation for losing luggage.  It turns out they have the appaling 46% higher rate for this than any other airline!  I have already had a bad experience with them several years ago and I swore I would never fly BA again, but still ended up on their flight because they are in partnership with my primary carrier.
