    i had a chinchilla he was great they have very fine fur that gets on your face if you touch your nose after handling so wash your hands i wouldnt recommend one for anyone that doesnt like dust as thats what they bath in water even a little will kill them i let mine run around all the time but be careful of electric cords because they constantly chew because their teeth always grow and can cause them problems without a chew block if you get a friendly one you can handle them but they like to come to you oh and they are very fast and hard to catch if they get loose
