    the model I have is black so that may be the reason it is hard to see the water when I am filling it.  Sometimes I overfill and end up with water on the countertop.  Oh well, there is always a sponge for that.  Otherwise I would give this coffeemaker the highest rating of any I have ever owned.  When I first brought it home, my husband balked, not liking new things but has now grown to like not having to deal with the carafe.  One-handed operation is a great convenience on those mornings when he is trying to get that travel mug, laptop and his lunch, as well as the garbage bag out the door! ... review »
