It’s finally spring… late spring. Springtime brings showers. Late springtime brings thunderstorms. With thunderstorms come power disruptions. I was sitting dumb and happy thinking I won’t have any problems, I have a UPS attached to my PC.

Wrong! First I saw the lights dim, and then I saw my PC screen go black and hear the PC start to reboot! Not a good thing. Fortunately the worst that happened was that the PC rebooted. It could have been a lot worse with damage to anything from an external hard drive to my LCD monitor, to at worst, the PC itself! I now knew it was time to replace my 5 year...
