I had heard about The Wire years ago, but I never bothered to check it out. When they began showing it on BET in the Spring of 2007, I started watching, and I instantly became interested. I wanted to get the full effect of the show though as they didn't have the vugarity and violence on a cable channel like BET. So I decided to put all of the available seasons in my netflix queue, and after getting hooked on this show I was absolutely blown away.
