My husband loves technology. I usually have to be convinced. He wanted a GPS for a long time before I finally relented and let him get one. Our first one was meant mainly for hiking. It was rugged and not very user-friendly. It would tell you where you were but not what was around you (no "points of interest"). I continued to rely on my old tried-and-true method of finding directions on Yahoo! maps and printing them out. When he got the Garmin Nuvi 200, however, I began to change my mind.
