I have owned other food processor in the past that were disappointing. They either broke, or over processed the food. This One is a work horse. I use it a minimum of 3 times a week. It slices potatoes for scalloped potatoes perfectly. I grate both Hard and soft cheese with no problem. My 3 year old Niece Even helps by feeding either the cheese or onions or herbs. It is on the heavy side so if you have counter space it would be easier. I don't but I still use it constantly. I have had processor for a long time now.
