I have to say hands-down this is the best vacuum ever created.  I bought this vacuum after having an upright Bissell.  I vacuumed my stairs once a week.  When I brought this home, I had just done the steps the day before.  So, that was the first thing I tried.  I could NOT believe the amount of dust that was still there.  I had to empty the chamber after I got half way through.  It was really disgusting actually.  If you have someone with allergies, this is the vacuum for you.
